What are tractor attachments?
Tractor attachments are agricultural implements that connect to a tractor's three-point linkage or PTO shaft — for example ploughs, cultivators, post hole diggers and front end loaders.
Linkage-mounted attachments
MB ploughs, disc ploughs and cultivators mount on the rear three-point linkage and are raised or lowered by the tractor's hydraulics.
PTO-driven attachments
Implements such as post hole diggers take power from the tractor's PTO shaft and work through a rotating action.
Front-mounted attachments
A front end loader mounts ahead of the tractor and operates its bucket through hydraulic cylinders.
