What is a Cultivator?
A cultivator is a tractor implement built on a steel frame fitted with tines (shovels) that penetrate and loosen the soil as the tractor moves forward.
It is the most commonly used implement after ploughing, because it converts rough ploughed land into a workable, level seedbed.

जिन खेतों में नमी कम है, वहाँ हल्की जुताई करके ऊपरी परत को ढीला रखने से नीचे की नमी अधिक समय तक बनी रहती है।

- फ्रेम की वेल्डिंग और शॉवल की धातु मजबूत होनी चाहिए, क्योंकि खेत में सबसे ज्यादा घिसाव इन्हीं पर होता है।
